Golden Embrace of Love

Niyoosha Tabassum

Artist Statement: I have a passion for painting with acrylics and enjoy experimenting with textures such as plaster, pastels, and beads, often transforming acrylics into the delicate essence of watercolour. As a nature enthusiast, my artwork captures a variety of interpretations of bodies of water, reflecting the world through my perspective. A significant number of my pieces embrace tranquil shades of blue and center around the theme of water, which brings me a profound sense of calm in my daily life. My art style is inspired by painters I admire, such as David Hockney, Peter Doig, and Claude Monet. I hope to bring a sense of tranquility to my audience, as there is a soothing quality that comes with water. I also never consider my paintings to be “finished”; I enjoy revisiting them and adding elements years later.
