Artist's statement: These works feature the fantastical natural world and icy dreamscapes, exploring themes of anxiety, isolation, and small beauties.

Ava Mirabelli is a second-year English student at the University of Ottawa. She has always loved being creative with visually expressive mediums such as drawing, photography, and painting.
